Matthew Miller is a healthcare innovator who believes the best solutions come from working alongside the people who need them most.Based in Victoria, BC, Matthew spent over 15 years leading digital transformation and innovation at Island Health, where he co-founded BC's first health authority innovation lab and intrapreneur program.Through that work, he saw firsthand how hard it can be for people living with depression to stay connected to the people who care about them and how supporters often don't know how to help. That gap stayed with him. Now, Matthew is building Coraluma, a communication system designed with patients, supporters, and clinicians to make it easier to share what's happening without needing the right words. It's about closing the distance between people when it matters most.Matthew is also a founding member of the Institute of Innovation for Public Good. iipg.ca
